So we played at the Sin Is Pretty opening last week. I was awkward, man. I was really nervous because we hadn't played in front of people in a while so I just went into my shpeel about how dirty my asshole is and how I am gonna switch to baby wipes instead of toilet paper. Then I told the cars drivin' through the canyon to go fuck themselves. It was the 5th closest thing I've ever had to a nervous breakdown.

It felt really good to play with the guys again and everyone seems to be in a positive state of mind.

Here are some photos of the show courtesy of Jamie

Oh, and i threw up another live Track from KXLU...this ones called "Jungle of Rocks". The sound quality is sub-par, but the energy and intensity is there, man.

Download it here or stream it in the media section

Enjoy it.

Oh and hey White Murder just released a new song / video. It kicks ass.

So whats a skinny fatty on a boogy board and a 3 wheeler have in common?

Is it the carbon molecules that make them up?

No. The Answer is Punk Rock

What I'm trying to say is that Mike and I went to the former site of the Masque in LA.

Transy@themasqueTryke@ the masque

Looks like World of Wonder owns the building now. I could feel the energy trying to escape through the small opening below the gate. Weather it was attracted to us, or simply trying to escape it's new landlords, I can't say for sure. Hopefully the place is in good hands!

In other news, we recently played a live set at KXLU, and will be releasing tracks from it here and there for you to download for free.

This one is called "Body Surfin"

Download it here, or stream it in our media section.

And don't forget to check us out on Saturday at the grand opening of Sin Is Pretty.

GREETINGS LOST CHILDREN OF OF THE CRUEL MOTHER THAT IS REALITY!

Here's the deal. We've been out for a month. We needed some time to get our heads together. Out of respact, I don't want to say exactly what happened right now. It was pretty serious, and now that it has happened we are better people for it. We all got together and after having the most amazing circlejerk, we had a good cry. But now that that's been done we can get back to playing in a band again.

Were playing in Laguna Beach at the grand opening of Sin Is Pretty. From what I have heard and seen, it is a Goth Boutique and shop. It's actually our first show in Laguna from what I reckon, so if you live here, come on down. There will be food to eat and libations to imbibe.

Im thinking of shaving my head bald, but I'm kind of afraid people will think we are a nazzi-skinhead group if I do that. But I think I might do it anyway. I love the way my head feels when its all shaven and smooth and I've just rubbed vasoline on it...My energy levels feel fuckin incredible, man. Is there a way to counteract that whole thing? Like if I have a bald is there some kind of accessory I can wear to express to the world that I am just bald and not an anti semite?

Do you guys think that It would give the band a skinhead rep if I shaved my head?

Are there secret anti-jew lyrics hidden in the Songs featured on the Moon Kids 7 inch, which is currently on sale through the website and finer record retailers in the Orange County area?

Whats with that tour that was supposed to happen?

What really happened to us this last month and what does this picture of me and Huevos have to do with it?

fun drinks

Who the Fuck knows.

Wanted to say a quick thank you to the Stitches for putting us on the show at the Juke Joint last week! Thanks to all our friends who came too! My friend Jamie took some video of us from that night, take a look!

Check out some of her other work at missjamiephotography.com

Played with Bikos last Friday @ Lot 1. They really blew me away. Check em out when you get the chance! Hot Chicks was a fun group too! Gonna try to get more shows with these people. Thanks to KXLU for putting it on!

Oh and a word of advice. If you are me, don't walk in front of Mike the Tryke. He likes to kancho. My Asshole was sore the next morning.

Greetings again, denizens and partakers of the internet ether. Wanna say outright that i appologize for not writing this sooner. No excuse, really...just been lazy. Finaly got to it though. We had a great time last few weeks. We went on tour, saw some new places, we met some new friends and were reunited with old ones.

We got on eachother's nerves, we got on our own, and we almost died.

SO CLOSE

Long story short, our tire blew out coming down the I-5 on the way home. We spun out, and landed safely on the right shoulder with no damage to us or the car (minus the tire) Don't really know how we got out of it, but I do know we are lucky to be alive, so thanks to whoever or whatever prevented that tragedy from happening.

But since you didn't come here to listen about the spiritual awakening I did have, here is how the tour went, via photos us and our friends took:

We so we (us + the FM Bats) hit the road around 3:00 and got to Fresno about 30 minnutes before we were to go on. We caught the end of Sci Fi Caper and we discovered a woman by the name of Fatty Cakes. Born Loser was a great no-nonsense punk rock outfit and I had fun dancing around to their jams.

The crowd was pretty receptive to us, as well, which i am not used to, but I am glad they liked us dispite the fact that we are such troublemakers. Seriously, Bel Tower! You guys should get a medal for being so nice to us even though our keyboard player got in a fight with one of your people!

Wanna thank Kenny Tÿson for letting us all stay at his place, and feeding us pizza.

Neat Ridroguez, too. It's always nice to have someone act as a liason when you have are in an unfamiliar city and your mind isn't quite on the level of a normal funtioning human being.

SF was great too! Hemlock was really cool to us!

...though Leonardo did kick over a table durring the Bat's set. Actually, they got kicked out, and I think we are all banned because of the situation. I hope that isn't the case, cause I really want to play there again. We are going to write an apology letter. Maybe that will help things.

SORRY HEMLOCK! WE HAVE EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS!

The Next morning after the show, Todd and I got into a HUGE fight. I remember exactly how it went:

...hey austin...

Though we clearly lost our shit, we talked over and came to a realization that we have more in common than we thought and came out of it as better people. Being in a band sure has taught us a lot about ourselves. Can't wait for the next tour!

TILL NEXT TIME!

Well needless to say, we are backhome home from the 2 stop mini tour. Fresno and SF were great. I have a lot more to say. I'll have a more in depth update once I get my thoughts and pictures together.

STAY TUNED.

Were hittin the road again. Fresno, and then San Fran. Had a good practice yesterday (finished writing two new songs). Mike dropped our bass amp on his toe, but I guess thats just "rock and roll" happening on us.

Really, though we have a serious problem keeping ourselves out of bodily injury. Hopefully we can keep ourselves within a managable spectrum of okay physical condition, durring this mini tour.

Well enough about that. Any Fresno or SF people that want to maybe see us, here are the Facebook event pages which has all the info you might need.

FRESNO@ the BEL-TOWER (Friday, Jan 27)

SF@ the HEMLOCK (Saturday, Jan 28)

I can' stop worrying about the rest of the Band's wellbeing, though. The other day, Dru fucked his face up really bad. Well it looked really bad. No one even knows how it happened.

He didn't seem to phased by it, though. I hope he wasn't just "being a man about it" and hiding his real pain.

Well, hopin for the best! Can't wait to party with you NorCal peeps!

Happy 2012, Sensitive Side Fans, and other denizens of the internet! This year we are opening up on a very problematic note.

Thanks to Todd from the FM Bats for comming along and filming it. 2Buck Chuck edited it, (CHECK OUT some of his other work)

Now lets address the obvious. The world is ending; society is falling apart. No one shall be spared, rich or poor, black, white or in-between. The world is gearing up for one last big conflict.

The secrets that have been hidden for hundreds of years are resurfacing and illuminating people's minds at a rapid pace, and we as human being's can't seem to keep up.

You have a choice here. You can join the waves of jingoistic human drones and participate in the last great Blood War, or you can excercise your ability to live and think freely however you choose. You can do this by comming to all of the SHOWS we play, and buying multiple copies of our current and subsequent records that we have and will be releasing, and by joining and posting mindblowing shit in our FORUMS.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places."

May you exceed your potential and overcome all inner and outer tyrants.

p.s. We are playing at Alladin Jr on January 11 (that's a wednesday). HERE is the event page with all the info. Cover is 5 bux! Come!

12-30-2011

The FORUMS are revamped and back up! Haven't had much of a problem with spambots either (knock on wood). I'll probobly be checking it constantly, but if you have any problems with it, EMAIL US and give us the skinny. Otherwise feel free to post whatever on it. I'll try to get the other guys on it too.

The Sensitive Side VIdeo Blog TWO: In Which we go to Vegas, and don't stay in Vegas. Scroll Below the vid for some pics! Enjoy!

What is there to say about Vegas that hasn't already been said?

You all know the deal. Drinking, gambling, whores pushers and pimps. Its the city of sin, and it still lives up to it's name. The mob might not run things anymore, and Frank Sinatra, might be dead, but Vegas is still Vegas!

We lucked out and got a cheap place next to Moter CIty Cafe, where the gig was, and Dru, Ryan, Charlie and Me proceeded to get drunk and trash the hotel room. Mike felt kind of bad for the housekeeper, so I made everyone clean up before we left. The show went all right. We had a few equipment malfunctions, but Kei from the Tinglerz helped us out with a guitar, and Drucifer tuned down his bass. Ryan sat on a fire log. The Show went on. A few people left the bar once we mentioned we were from LA, and if any of you are reading this, I just want you to know, if we were anywhere else, that would not have happened. Well...maybe the deep south.

Important thing is, we showed you the curtesy of watching your shitty band play, so you can show us the curtesy of watchin OUR shitty band "play".

After the show, we hit the strip. FIrst Oshae's, then Fremont Street. 2 buck, being the craps player that he is scored us 75 bucks at the tables (which is 50 more bucks than we made at the gig) We all got back safely and the trip pretty much played for itself. I think I speak for the entire Sensitive Side when I say that I like the road, and want to hit it again soon.

Thanks to Ryan Bright for subbing for Huevos. We will probobly be using you again soon, so dont get to comfortable. The Next show happens on December 16 @ Burger Records. This show not only marks our record's release, but also marks the return of Huevos Bodreros to the drums.

Here's some pics of the trip. Ryan's (now) ex, Tarra took some of them.

Stay Shitty!
